The indexing
chuck. Type HSRW are essentially identical with those of the chuck
type HSR. A particular difficulty in machining gate valve bodies
consists in having to set the inside wedge angle of the sealing
faces in a position relative to the face to be machined so that
all necessary turning operation can be performed in one chucking
set-up. This is only possible if the valve seat and connecting flange
have a common turning center, which can possibly be achieved by
moving the component by the center line, to a common center line
of the chuck jaw. |

The SIC, a
mandrel with interchangeable segments, is the latest in the range
of standard mandrels. Designed specifically for the motor trade,
this mandrel meets their need for standardising clamping on one
bore of a component. This means that the same mandrel can be used
for various types of machining, eg : turning, grinding, gear cutting,
superfinishing, inspection etc... Only four sizes of this mandrel,
with diameters of 18 to 80mm, are needed to machined gearbox components,
requiring the minimum of capital outlay on equipment. The SIC,
by virtue of its ease of use(fast and simple removal of the clamping
element from the front), its reliability, long life and modest cost,
is a high performance, and highly profitable mandrel. |

Compensating
Chuck-SFC has been improved from compensating structure of plane
sliding of the existing chuck to the sliding structure of the spherical
surface, which ensures the outstanding accuracy, and long life. |

This chuck
equally excise its force to each jaw, and the jaw moves respectively
to clamp the workpiece. Therefore, the clamping is possible based
on the centers of the workpiece to be processed. Especially in case
of forged and casted workpiece with irregular diameters, it is possible
to get high accuracy of concentricity based on centers. |
